In 2006 my wife Lisa and I purchased the historic property that was home to a 42 seat tea room that was going out of business. We saw the opportunity to purchase the business and made the commitment to put tea on the map in South Jersey. After preparing a detailed business plan we created a website with e-commerce, private label selection of teas, healthy homemade menu items including a heart healthy children’s menu. Lisa and I, along with our management staff, are all certified Level One Tea Specialists from the Tea Institute of America. Mulberry Tea House has 14 employees and is positioned for long term growth and franchise potential in the next 3-5 years.

Stephanie Bichara

Stephanie is responsible for preparing the many items on our menu each day.
She carefully inspects each item after it is prepared before it leaves our kitchen.
Stephanie's solid work ethic has helped keep our kitchen running smoothly even during the busiest days.
She is a valuable member of The Mulberry Tea House team.

Jayne Wenstrom

Jayne is a one of the friendly faces you will see when visiting The Mulberry Tea House.
She has been in the food service business for years. Since joining the Mulberry Tea House she has broadened her knowledge of all things tea.
We are very happy to have her as part of the team at The Mulberry Tea House.

Along with her warm and friendly smile, broad knowledge of tea and the food service industry, Julie has an exceptional way of making our customers feel comfortable and relaxed during their visit.
